About the Uniting Church The Uniting Church was formed in 1977 by the merger of the Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregational churches. About Kenthurst District Kenthurst is a semi-rural outer suburb in North-western Sydney. Many properties are 2-hectare lots, a few of which still have working market gardens that once occupied most of the district. There is a public school across the road from the church; and several private schools in the area. The small shopping centre, half a kilometre from the church, comprises about 10 shops and several day-care centres. There is a Community Hall and swimming pool. The main large shopping centre is at Castle Hill, about 10km away. |
