Kentgrove Village

Kentgrove Village is a small and friendly retirement village operated by UnitingCare Ageing – Western Region, a part of the community outreach of the Uniting Church in Australia. It consists of 49 independent (self-care) units.

The Village is adjacent to the Kenthurst Uniting Church, and its construction was a vision of the then Parish to which the church was attached. The church continues to have a close association with the residents, providing pastoral care and joint activities.

The Kenthurst shops are within walking distance (about half a kilometre away), and there is a local bus service to Castle Hill, which has a major shopping centre.

Village News    October 2018

Greetings from Kentgrove Village.

It has been very chilly this Winter as we all know. Yet at KENTGROVE our regular activities have been well attended.

Renovations of villas have now been completed. They look fresh and inviting and open for inspection and For Sale.

Christmas in July was a beautiful afternoon and enjoyed by everyone. With Christmas Roast and all the trimmings, Christmas Pudding and of course wonderful company.

Our regular activities never fail, Games, Hot Chocolate and Bingo afternoons, Craft mornings and not to forget Friday Dinner Nights. Coming up we have Movie Matinee and Barbecue.

We invite you, the Congregation to come and join us at any of our Social Events. Please call me if you would like more information. Come and have a walk through our well kept gardens. Spring blossoms are now appearing.

We wish you all the very best of wishes from our Village.

Kind regards
Gwenda Mackenzie
