Well so much talk from the media about Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Wedding that we are going to celebrate it in our own “Traditional Way” of a Post Wedding High Tea.

We are changing our date from 23rd May to 1 week later 30th May.

Here is a friendly reminder of our details ~

This will be catered for by your Committee.

We will also have a card making day or 2 with my Embossing Machine.

16th March 2018

How lovely was our 9th Birthday on Wednesday? Fun, games, birthday cake, balloons, music and each other’s company. It was such a beautiful “party”morning. We loved having Louise and Murray with us and we look forward to them being with us at anytime that they can. Thank You ladies for bringing morning tea it was just beautiful.

Coming up is our Royal Wedding celebration in May.

ROYAL WEDDING at Craft is Wednesday 23rd May so please make a note of this in your diaries. It will be High Tea so we would like you to dress for the occasion, wear a hat, and bring your best cup, saucer & plate. We also would like you to bring a Wedding photo of yourself or of someone else for “show n tell.” Our Committee will be catering for this special event.

I will be away overseas for the next 5weeks, I will miss you all and will send Josie a card or 2 to share with you.

Have a Happy and a safe Easter.

When I get old, I don't want people thinking “What a sweet old Lady,” I want them saying, “Oh No! What is she up to now?”

We have had a lovely last few weeks of being together, getting excited when someone walks through the door, admiring what each other has brought in for us to enjoy and admire, and seeing what each of us is doing at this time. The last couple of cooler days has been so much appreciated. We have had a hot summer. Now we need a good downpour of rain.

Poppies are being knitted and crocheted by a few of you and I just adore then. They are all different and that's just how a Poppy should be. The request for 60,000 poppies came from The Australian War Memorial in Canberra to represent the 60,000 soldiers that were killed in World War 1. These will be spread out on the grounds of the Australian War Memorial for Remembrance Day this year. Along with friends of ours and Rod and I we will take these poppies to Canberra in September. Our cut off date for making them is end of August. I said at craft this morning that I would count the poppies that have come in and we have 35. I think my aim is to try and take 100 if we can.

14th March is our 9th Birthday so come along and be ready for birthday cake, fun music, balloons, and dress as if you are going to a birthday party. If you would like to bring a small plate of food to share that would be appreciated.

In May we are going to The Royal Wedding ~ dress will be up market including a hat, bring along your best cup, saucer & plate and we will serve you High Tea. Morning Tea will be provided by The Committee. Also bring along a Wedding Photo for show and Tell ~ this can be yours or someone else's.

I will finish now and look forward to next week.

Welcome back to craft to us all for 2018 and what a beautiful cooler day it is for us.

Several birthdays were mentioned today and several cards will be posted by Rosemary to our ladies who were not with us. We say Happy Birthday to Beverley, Padma, Joan & Gwenda. I was sung to and received one of Rosemary's beautiful cards. Thank You.

Over the next few weeks I have some lovely and some fun ideas to share with you and I am looking forward to that.

Heather brought in 2 completed Wraps and they were worth seeing. Simply lovely and different.

February 14th Valentines Day & also the day before will have been Pancake Tuesday so let's have “Pancake Morning Tea a day later!!!”

March 14th is our 9th Birthday so party we will.
